For absence durations calculated in calendar days, Reflect includes every day of the absence period, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
For example, an absence covering four full days from Friday through Monday has a duration of 4 days: Saturday and Sunday count too.
If an absence has no end date, its duration is calculated up to today. A partial day or an imprecise absence date in the source software can affect the resulting duration.
Calendar duration describes an absence. To calculate sums of absence days and the absenteeism rate over a period, Reflect uses working days, Monday through Friday. When comparing figures with your HR software, check the calendar and dates used.
