For each recruitment source, a numbered interview stage is active if at least one stage from your tool is classified under that type through normalization. If no stage is classified under that type for the source, it is not counted.
How is an application counted?
When an application reaches an interview stage, an offer or a hire, Reflect also counts it in the earlier active numbered interview stages. A stage remains counted as the application moves forward. This helps you read the funnel, but does not prove that an interview actually took place at each stage.
For example, if interviews 1 and 2 are active for a source, an application that reaches the offer stage is counted for both. If no value from that source is normalized as interview 3, that stage is not counted.
What should I check if a figure looks wrong?
Compare the application’s journey in your recruitment tool with its source and the period analyzed. In Data management → Data normalization, select the Recruitment stage category and check the Stage type values for the relevant source.
A normalization change is reflected in the next data update. If the discrepancy remains, contact your Reflect representative with the application, source and period concerned.
To change the settings, see the data normalization guide.
