The Egapro payroll rule explains the FTE annual compensation (Egapro Index) displayed for each employee. It scales the included payroll amounts to a full-time equivalent for the entire fiscal year, so compensation can be compared on the same basis.
Which amounts are included?
Reflect adds the fiscal year’s payroll amounts associated with permanent or fixed-term contracts active on the payroll date, for categories where Included in Egapro? is set to True. Categories where this field is False or blank are excluded. Categories whose Payroll type is set to Ø (not normalizable) are also excluded. See Normalize payroll categories to check these settings.
Reflect accounts for working time and length of presence during the year to scale this amount to full time for the entire year. For example, an employee working half-time for the whole year with €18,000 in included pay has FTE annual compensation of €36,000. This reconstructed amount may therefore differ from Total paid and the theoretical contractual salary.
Without included pay, or if the annual FTE needed for the calculation is zero or missing, the compensation remains blank. Average full-time equivalent annual compensation (Egapro Index) includes employees eligible for the Index; this selection is separate from the selection of payroll categories.
What should you check if the numbers differ?
Check the fiscal year, scope, contracts, payroll dates and amounts, working time and payroll category settings. Correct the source data or its normalization if necessary, then wait for it to update in Reflect. If the discrepancy remains, contact your Reflect representative.
To prepare your report, see the Egapro Index guide.
